Fiction is all about fantasy
Men and women live in a vast underground silo with few regulations that they believe protect them from the toxic and destroyed world above. Whether they’re exploring the stars, escaping dystopias, or making the world a better place, these women are what science is all about. Season 1 covers the first 30 chapters of the book “Wool” – the book has 82 chapters. The fans on the ground in several episodes spin in the wrong direction, considering the orientation of the blades.
I really liked Silo
Spinning this way doesn’t push or pull air. Featured on WatchMojo: Top 10 TV Shows of 2023, You Need to Binge (2023). Just my kind of show. I love mystery and suspense.
The story is good and interesting
I haven’t read or heard of the books that Silo is based on. The show is set 140 years after the apocalypse. There are 10,000 people who are now alive in the silo, and these people have never left the silo. They don’t even know what stars are.
The acting is good, as is the character development
They do know, however, that it is disastrous to leave the silo. Some people decide to leave to learn more, but they always die. Those who remain in the silo can watch through the window every time someone tries to leave and see how and when they die. Rebecca Ferguson stars as Juliette Nichols, who tries to find out what is outside the silo and why they can’t leave without dying.
However, the pacing can be a bit slow, as there are some filler episodes
They definitely could have shortened the series by at least two episodes, but I don’t mind too much because the series as a whole is very good. I’m looking forward to a second season with more suspense, mystery, and answers about what is happening outside the silos!
