As a result, the film did poorly at the box office and was pulled from most theaters at the end of its third week of release
Chronology
Through the eyes of a strong-willed woman, we learn the extraordinary story of Irena Gut and the triumphs of the human spirit over devastating tragedy as she risked her life to save a generation of Jews from the horrors of the Holocaust. Although this Canadian film had a much wider theatrical release in Canada than the typical Canadian film, for some reason its distributor, Elevation Pictures, decided not to give the film a significant marketing budget.

I have always been a great supporter and sympathizer of oppressed people around the world
I will never understand someone’s intense hatred and extreme obsession to harm others solely because of race. Fortunately, on the other side of this evil, we are also inspired by the good people who showed heroic acts of courage, morality and good conscience to protect victims in these horrific circumstances.
Sophie Nelisse and the entire cast give phenomenal performances
I was immediately drawn into this film and was captivated by it until the credits rolled. This film is full of drama and tension and I cannot recommend it enough!
