Four kids make a mysterious discovery on their home planet that lands them lost in a strange and dangerous galaxy. The holographic circus that entertains Neel’s little siblings is the same one Chewbacca’s family watches in the infamous The Star Wars Holiday Special (1978).
I love this show
in AniMat’s Crazy Cartoon Cast: Silly Old Deadly Bear (2022). It captures the kid’s sense of adventure that the original trilogy had more than anything since.
It’s also broadly accessible for a family audience without overindulging in either
It sits firmly in the adventure space, where the stakes are real and the danger palpable. It also feels like the team that put it together ‘get’ what makes Star Wars so exciting.
